About Kakumei

The Current Site's Name [Kakumei]
Kakumei means revolution in japenese. I went through this Japenese-English translation site to find the perfect japenese word to go with "designs". Well, revolution appealed to me, since that is what I wanted to do. I wanted to revolutionize my site to a total different standard before leaving the graphic site world. Revolution is where we are, the era that is evolving more and more. It happens with the technology we use and the way we are living right now. I guess I believe in this new era, and that who knows maybe we can live in space, or live like the Jetsons with their vacuum looking elevator haha. This is how I got the idea of Kakumei. It was also a chinese song I love to listen from F.I.R. Although I don't understand it, it kind of had a nice ring when I heard "Revolution".

History of Designing
I have been webdesigning around 2 or 3 years. Before starting my graphic designs at Kakumei, I have started with a simple Sakura x Syaoran shrine, which my friend started off my first layout. The site was called Cherryblossom loves Littlewolf, and evolved even more when I started using graphic programs such as Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop. I figured that I would change my site, with a site's name that would be more simpler, Cherry Diamond. It helped me get the chance to increase my knowledge in coding, and making more better and unique designs. After Cherry Diamond, it went to Moonlight Shadow; which I didn't realize that someone else had a site's name like mine, and so I changed it into Moonlight Lotus. Through all these site changes, they each gave me a chance to improve my webdesigning, and I know I can still perfect it today.

Wishes
Kakumei Designs will probably be my final website, since looking through all those times on webdesigning, I don't think I am the type of person who would continue on. There must be end ne? Well I just hope I have excelled even more on Kakumei Designs, and that there are huge differences compare to my old site Moonlight Lotus (which was my best site I have ever done so far).

Before going to my new hostess Jan of Kouu.net, Megan was the one who supported me, way WAY back then when I started opening up Cherry Diamond. She was once my affiliate, and was a wonderful hostess, and a care-taking friend. I can never forget her help, thank you so much Megan! ^^ and thank you Jan for hosting me today! ^^
